UNABLE TO ATTEND

If you are unable to attend the graduation ceremony, you may collect your diploma, certificate, transcripts and/or prizes from 13 May 2024, or authorize somebody to do so.

Please note that diplomas, transcripts & prizes will NOT be posted to graduates if they are unable to attend the Graduation Ceremony.

Graduates are advised to read and choose one of the three available options below.

Option 1: Personal Collection of Diploma

  • Graduates may go personally to the One Stop Centre (Blk T16 Level 2, located at the end of the Dover MRT station link way) to collect their diploma, certificate, academic transcript and/or prize(s) from 13 May 2024.
  • Graduates will be asked to show their NRIC/11B/Passport/Admission Card, as proof of identity, when they collect their documents at the One Stop Centre.

+Option 2: Authorised Collection of Diploma

  • Graduates who are unable to come down personally to collect their diplomas, certificates, transcripts and/or prizes may authorised a family member to collect their documents on their behalf.
  • Please print and complete this authorisation form before passing it to your family member.  Alternatively, you may write an authorisation letter*.
  • Requests via telephone or email will not be entertained.
  • Family members may come to the One Stop Centre (Blk T16 Level 2, located at the end of the Dover MRT station link way) to collect your documents from 13 May 2024.
  • Family members MUST produce duly completed authorised form as well as proof of identity before documents will be issued.
  • For verification purposes, the following documents must be shown before collection of the diploma:
    1. NRIC/Passport/Birth Certificate/Admission Card of the graduate, and
    2. NRIC/Passport of the authorised person.

 

  • NOTE: Photocopies of NRIC/Passport/Birth Certificate/Admission Card will NOT be accepted.
  • *If you prefer to write an authorisation letter instead of downloading the authorisation form, your letter should include the following details:
    1. your (i.e. the graduate's) full name, NRIC or Passport No., admission no. & course of study
    2. the authorised person's full name, NRIC or Passport No. and relationship to you (the graduate)
    3. your (i.e. the graduate's) signature.

 

  • Please note that the Examinations Office bears no responsibility for the loss or damage of documents if this option is chosen.

+Option 3: Authorised Mailing of Diploma (for graduates residing overseas only)

  • Graduates living, studying or working overseas may choose to authorise the Examinations Office to mail their diploma, certificate, transcripts and/or prize(s) via registered post to their overseas address.
  • Graduates opting for this option MUST write an official authorisation letter* to the Examinations Office, or complete this authorisation form
  • Please note that the Examinations Office bears no responsibility for the loss or damage of documents if this option is chosen.
  • Requests via telephone or email will not be entertained.
  • *For graduates who wish to write an authorisation letter, your letter should include the following details:
    1. your (i.e. the graduate's) full name, NRIC or Passport No., admission no. & course of study
    2. the overseas address that the documents should be posted to
    3. a statement declaring that the Examinations Office will not be held responsible for any loss or damage of documents.
    4. your (i.e. the graduate's) signature.
  • For verification purposes, the authorisation form/letter must be signed and sent together with certified true copies of your final year exam result slip and a photocopy of your NRIC/Passport/Admission Card.
 

+For either of these options, please note that the Examinations Office will bear NO responsibility for the loss or damage of documents.  No replacement Diplomas, Certificates, Transcripts will be printed in the event of loss or damage of documents.
